The Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide 1948, defines genocide as "any of a number of acts committed with the intent to destroy in whole or in part a national, ethnic, racial or religious group: killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part."It doesn't have to be violent.

@robearl1983 How so? I am a social libertarian. I believe in giving a helping hand to others where it is needed but I also beleive that people should be free to do their own thing and any level of government has no right to poke it's unwanted nose into people's private business where it is not necessary to do so.
