The Americans in Mexico are not there for a free handout,many have figured a way to escape paying taxes on both sides of the border. Mr. Smith,this really isn't a race issue as much as it is a matter of those who play by the rules and those who disobey the laws. We'll reach a solution once the jobs that are offered to illegals are no longer there and once the public funds are cut-off. Like a stray dog, if you feed him he'll return when hungry..if you cut him off he'll find somewhere else to eat

Funny thing, maximos718: The Americans in Mexico are NOT having "anchor" babies to get on Mexican welfare & public assistance! There is not a mass exodus of poor Americans going to Mexico for a better life. Mexico's corruption is hard to beat... however, our politicians are rapidly catching up. Then end of a Democracy comes when the citizens discover that they can vote their selves money (welfare, etc) from the treasury. As for the fools running this country, on day they will hang.

funny thing, i was vacationing recently in San Miguel de Allende in Mexico and the place is flooded with guess what? Yep, AMERICANS, white americans trying to escape the mess that other white americans have created... and guess what else? the Mexicans there are sympathetic and hospitable - and some of the yankees there aren't exactly "A Class" citizens either
