I love partisanship. It works. Nothing is better at getting the people out to vote like a little partisanship.

At least republicans and democrats are bitching about different things. Democrats bitch about extraordinary detention practices and DADT and Republican fear mongering... the same things they bitched about under Bush. Meanwhile republicans focus on expanding federal government, raising taxes, increasing the deficit, 2 of which they were for under Bush and one that America is desperately overdue for. Granted Democrats have changed tunes on some things, but at least it smells close enough.

TheDarkCount (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Ask yourself this: If you're a Republican, and you were walking home and some guy starts stabbing you in the back and he happens to be wearing a 'Bush-Cheny-2004' t-shirt, are you seriously gonna say: "At least he aint a democrat'? I don't think so.
TheDarkCount (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Neo Cons and Neo Con supporters are so blinded by their partisan politics that they bitch about insignificant issues against the other party while ignoring the sins of their own. The reason why he called those Obama Haters useless is because they are. The second the next Republican President comes in and starts spending the country into oblivion they'll simply ignore it like the morons they are and they'll justify it by saying, "at least he aint a Democrat."

@MMouthPeach They are useless in the sense that they will just vote for whoever the Republican candidate is, regardless of his policies and positions. The message that this sends to the republicans is that it doesn't matter who they nominate, as long as it's "better" than the democrat. So in that sense, partisan people like that are worse than useless, as they do more harm than good.Getting the better party in office does no good if in doing so you guarantee that both parties will decline.

@TulliusVII I know he supports Ron Paul. Because R.P. (who I love as a Congressman BTW) will never win the presidency he will never have to defend himself against the national liberal press.I love Libertarians, they share the same ideology as Republicans. The problem is that they, like the left will settle for nothing less than perfection. Sometimes you gotta support the imperfect candidate in order to defeat the biggest threat on liberty; liberalism. If you don't win you can't fix anything.

I stopped listening at 1:52 because you seem to be making the same mistake again. In this case, when you say the men who feel Obama is a complete and utter moron are completely useless you jumped the shark. Each and every one of those guys will vote in November,Hell, I can see November from my house. |
