problem in the western world nowadays is,that the big lobbies and firms are in charge and not moral or ethics which are declining in the hole society.Egoism,money,fame,power is the god today.that makes it possible to for islamic radicals to see themself as uncorrupted and "better" then the west.But the lack of ethics also creates other problems like the banking crisis.I'm confident,that the"normal man in the street"will more and more realize this and change politic but it will be a hard struggle

Aegialeusradical islam is a big problem i agree. But fighting islamic extremists is only a "shield" reason (understandable?), because its about oil, influence, power. If only fighting for liberty, justice ect. the western world should help more in africa and emphasis more in securing peace. Overall problem is, that the way the american gouvernment acts (over many years) is loosing the credibility that they fight for freedom. u cant fight for ideals in a way neglecting these ideals.

VogelGreifI agree with you in part but not in whole. Yes there are extremists in all religions (ideologies). The Koran is an extremist ideological book, that is followed to the letter in the Islamic world where ever theocracy prevails. Islam is the antitheses of Free Will & Expression, Liberty, Justice, Freedom, and Democracy. Excuse me but I will not play patsy to any Muslim.I'm an Atheist/Agnostic. I know that religion & the idea of god is not the common denominator of human kind.
