Sorry for not replying earlier. As it turns out he's not quite the joke that I thought he was and I've been impressed by the way the coalition have compromised. However to say that Clegg would make the best PM in history is stretching it. I hope the weather in Portsmouth is agreeable.

Exactly! People retain from voting Lib Dem simply because they've never voted for them before i.e. are afraid of change from the norm even if it could directly benefit them.

If everybody in the UK earning under £10K a year voted for the Lib Dems, then there shurely would be a real posibility of them forming the next Govt. And they want anyone earning £10K or less a year to pay no income tax.It astonishes me that when I tell my work collegues this, they show no interest. It`s not that they won`t go to the polls. More like, they`ll vote for whom they`ve always voted.

'Something for Nothing' has always been imbeded in the Tories DNA. Almost all Tories were born with wealth whose ancestors acquired from hogging all natural resources and exploiting people ie. slavery and not paying workers a fair wage.

The Lib Dems are right the Tory party does not have credibility.Vote Lib Dem for real change.

If we had gone the Tory route of deregulating and privatising more, borrowing against property price rise and making a 'share holder' society..WE would be like Greece now, in deep deep poo.new Labour weren't much better, but they were better, we had at least a commitment to investments which enhanced manufacturing and education. and not just the elaborate Ponzi scheme of magic markets making magic money from bonuses. The money was not invested in anything, it went to buy yachts in Saudi.

Clegg is a joke! Vince Cable could however lure enough voters from both parties to force a hung parliment. If we get more of the same, I'm off to Oz asap.
