I forgot to ask you why. That part's kind of important. What systems and why?We always get Stalins and Pol Pots? Is it so unrealistic to suppose that if you opposed in every instance the Stalin, Pol Pot, and John D. Rockefeller, that they wouldn't be in power oppressing you?

Do you really think that "common ownership" necessarily means ownership by a small cadre or individual? - YesThis circumstance is the case in almost every organized society the world has ever known. - True, but some systems collect power more efficiently than others.Chomsky's Libertarian-Socialism has no relation to reality. In real life, we get Stalins and Pol Pots.

Do you really think that "common ownership" necessarily means ownership by a small cadre or individual? Will you not acknowledge that this circumstance is the case in almost every organized society the world has ever known? But therein lies the rub....libertarian socialism doesn't espouse an organized society. Agents like "small cadres" and individual rule are STAUNCHLY opposed. Did you even listen to Chomsky speak in this video?
jeffmagic32 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
In fact, I have read everything Mr. Chomsky has written about the Khmer Rouge regime. Through a process of selective citation, Chomsky has claimed that only 20,00 people were killed through 1978. That many people likely died in the forced evacuation of Phnom Penh alone. Chomsky has also cited in favor of this move - one decried by anybody with half a brain or heart. Why would he defend such genocidal actions? You would have to ask him.

No. He wasn't. At all. I've read Chomsky for years friend, stop repeating lies. Like what would even be the point of being apologist to Pol Pot? Doesn't even make any sense. He just pointed out that we have for decades in places like Latin America and elsewhere committed similar, sometimes worse crimes. There's no such thing as moral equivalency, if anything, we've done much worse if you care to look at history. I doubt you will.
jeffmagic32 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Chomsky was a active apologist for the Pol Pot's brutal regime. I suggest you read up on the matter.

Are you the same moron who likes to link Chomsky to the Khmer Rouge?
jeffmagic32 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
your writing is pretty difficult to understand.
