Again, please do some historical factual research of the man you think is one of the greatest presidents: Start with the Lincoln-Douglas Debates and in his First Inaugural address. "I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races; that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; [...] "

You might also want to look up a letter that Lincoln sent to the governor of Florida in 1861 wherein he pleaded when the then governor to marshall support for an amendment to the Constitution making slavery explictly santioned.Do a Google search. The AP reported on that letter a few years back.Lincoln wanted to install his American System. It required high tariffs, and most of the ports to collect tariffs were in the south. That's why he invaded the south.

You should do a little more reading about the tyrant Lincoln. The Emancipation Proclamation wasn't trotted out until 2 years into the war, and it didn't apply to non-combatant states.Lincoln though blacks to be inferior, and didn't approve of race-mixing. He was working on plans to ship all blacks out of the country when he was shot. The war was over state's rights and tariffs that benefitted northern manufacturing interests at the expense of the south.

mistakes lincoln did were trying to keep usa one and see slavary as morally wrong and also see african americans as real human beings not a property of another human being( a belief that brought end to his life). War was the result of special interest groups on both sides.

Lincoln is one of the greatest president. He was the first among all the intellectual presidents of that time to see slavery as morally wrong and unacceptable to the free society. There r bad theories abt every prez including raegan, kennedy, jefferson and washington. Its true that no one is perfect. Lincoln was not a evil man.I am pretty sure it was special interests groups of that time that took usa to bloody war. Lincoln sacrificed a lot including his life for this country.

Ron Paul is a coward who was best friends with Osama Bin Laden. Ron Paul is a known draft dodger that supports terrorism against the USA. He believes GW Bush blew up the WTC on 9-11. Honest Mitt Romney is a good Mormon and a War Hero. Mitt Romney killed Bin Laden. Ron Paul hates the USA and Mitt has saved the USA many times. Vote Romney 2012. Amen.
