Man, I need to do some more reading. This guy is well-read. To me, this is further proof that geographic location mean nothing in terms of intelligence and eloquence.

here's a question:Let's say you go to iraq and have your leg blown off. Do you people weld the prosthetic leg to your foreheads. The leg doesn't work *grunt* that's why it was blown off *grunt* *grunt*.

The "elite" at the Al Smith dinner supporting Obama, Inc. are the same ones GW Bush indiscreetly acknowledged as his base in 2000.I'm an independent admirer of the Agrarians. I like Nader's traditionalism; he knows that a vote for Obama, Inc. is a vote for continuing interventionism, corporate greed, and dissolution of sovereignty. Obama, Inc. is Da System, waging Stalinist War Upon the Peasants who question his Hollywood-promoted International Corporate Socialism.

Funny how the "Avenger," like so many others, never use photos or other reminders of HW Bush. That's who Obama, Powell, Brezezinski, Albright etc. have in common.Funny too, how this clip indicts capitalism, but not communism.

I have to say after hearing people like Ron Paul, and this guy talk I am starting to get a much better understanding of what it means to be truly conservative and I'll admit I like it more than I like what the GOP generally sales. I'm still to the left but it makes a helluva lot more sense than what we got right now.

That was a great commentary. Keep up the good work!

It has never been truer than in today's age that war is the health of the state. The GOP really needs to heed Eisenhower's warning, and soon. It's been 48 years since he gave that speech! When are people gonna wake up?! Or do they just not care anymore? Do the people waving their damn flags and saying "country first" while they support McCain-Palin REALLY care enough to save their country? Or is it just a faux patriotism like I suspect? "Country first" is dumb. EVERYONE puts it first.

As hawkish as Barry was, I never for a second (even though I'm only 21), based on the man he seemed like and what I've read, thought he was willing to actually drop high-risk nuclear bombs, like atom or hydrogen bombs, onto people like Truman did on Japan. That just doesn't seem like the kind of guy Goldwater was. Reagan probably was never willing to use nukes either, just develop and store them for the arms race. It's quite unfortunate that hacks like Hannity actually WOULD use nukes on Iran

You can't legislate people to BE good, but you can damn sure as hell legislate to make government and public services equal for all. And if governments don't treat their people fairly, kick the rascals out!
