Sometimes it just doesn't feel right, writing about personal feelings or the mundane assortment of details that comprise my existence, when there's so much..."news" in the world. In the last couple weeks the country's been plunged into an economic tailspin, an American legend (Paul Newman) dies, in a month we'll have either our first black president or first female vice president... I'll be voting for Obama, but I truly wonder if it will make a difference who gets in that office.

Bush's crying wolf about terrorism has destroyed credibility about the economic wolf at the door, inviting voting down a needed bailout to prevent US bankruptcy.We need confidence restored by government looking strong behind our system, and what do we have to show for it? Babbling and waffling, till the stock market reels and we give truth to the lie US doesn't know what it is doing.Shameful on so many levels. Sorry for being a stickler.By the way "publicly educate the masses" is a catch phrase from Chairman Mao era China. At least you did not use the term "sheeple" ;dHey just for a laugh do a search in the tube for the Alex Jones/Chomsky so called "interview". Skip ahead to the last part to hear Jones at his absolute silliest, it is an eye opener and a hoot.

Ooof, if I sound like Alex Jones then maybe I should take a step back and review my language :p Alex Jones conveys a lot of interesting information which must be taken with a pinch of salt as he fearmongers and often distorts the information for his own propoganda. However, to debate with him would be like talking to a loud speaker on repeat ;)
