I know it's not just a title, it's a lifestyle, an award, a honor. I wish my mom saw it the way I do. Doesn't matter though, I'm never going to give up my chance to earn the right to call myself a Marine. OO-RAH I'm on my way, Parris Island.

My husband will be finishing this on this coming Saturday, and I'll be seeing him for the first time in 3 months come next Friday. I'll admit I cried pretty much all the way through :)

Even though it's only Parris Island, it's still pretty moto, even after all these years. The cheeseball music is horrible though.

If there was a single Marine among them who didn't cry upon receiving the EGA, I'll be they did when they heard the order for the SDIs to take charge and feed them a warrior's breakfast.
