I'm not disagreeing with you, she said "Canada sent troops" when in reality the troops went of their own accord, the Canadian government never sent any soldiers to Vietnam. That's what I meant.

Canadians joined the American army and served in Vietnam. 30,000 Canadians volunteered to fight. According to CBC's own archives, Canada supplied ammunition, aircraft engines, gun sights, grenades, boots, napalm, TNT, Agent Orange, generators and passenger vehicles, to name just a few.And of course Canada did send soldiers for peacekeeping and aided with refugees...again, not drafted soldiers on the front lines, but not out of line with what Coulter was talking about.

I doubt that is what they had in mind. I'm pretty sure it was merely intended to be funny. Of course, the pie-throwers could have had a grander scheme in mind and thought that, in throwing a pie at Coulter, perhaps they could show how her career in the media is really a huge farce and no one with half a brain actually takes her seriously.
