Why do they all have branded, bottled water sitting in front of them?

@TunaHelper64 I'm actually below normal weight for my age and height. I don't have insurance, nor do I want any; it's too bloody expensive. I'd rather have a private system where individuals (doctors and the like) can choose to be charitable and not feel coerced by the corporate and collective institutions to which, at present, they are subservient to.

@Ranksta07 No, I just have a realistic, and non-socialized perspective on the issue. I don't think it's my responsibility to extend my sphere of interest into the lives of my fellow citizens any more than I think it's their responsibility to extend their own interests into my life. The only true exception to that maxim is for those people I know and care about (that I'm close to). Even then, I recognize that their life is a responsibility given to them alone, just as my life is my own..

@fundip43 i use calories here as a measurement of the amount of food not the people are using calories to tell them were to eat the are seeking value in the form of a time and effort saver plus many dont even know how to cook something half way distant
fundip43 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
1 dollar 5 bucks for like 1000 calories its worth it you dont have to clean it cook hell even get out of the car the point iis people think in the short term and a now mind set. yes the could go to a store and buy something cheaper it very unlikely tho that it would even be close to who many calories you can get going to a grocery store. t

@fundip43 Fine, 5 pounds then. The point is you have no business to be eating processed foods or junk foods when money is tight and you even have to consider the cost of eating. When you eat at McDonalds, the bulk of your money is going to the services to produce the food. Heck, I'm a millionaire and even I don't think McDonalds is worth it. |
