WraTH017, pointing out a typo doesn't make you a genius. It's your opinion that Rush is a demagogue. Fine, but any point those people were trying to make got lost in their incoherent yelling. I've never heard Rush's harsh sentiments towards addicts, just dealers. And what does that have to do with this, anyway? So he was addicted to something that millions of others have struggled with while trying to deal with severe pain. Do you belittle everyone of those people, too?

I can barely watch this. I'm not a fan of Rush. I don't typically agree with anything he says.. but it's really fucking impossible to watch this because people won't shut. the. fuck. up. He would have asked them, which is why he went into the audience. It's hard to even hear what the issue at hand was (Esp. since it was 1990 and thus not super-recent)I'm only 24 but the older I get the more I notice just how bad batshit crazy both sides can be, conservatives and liberals.

The drug he was taking is called oxycotin which doctors have stopped prescribing because it has a high chance of dependency/addiction. FDA said it not me. That would be the doctors fault, not Rushes. Now if you are strongly against recreational drugs you might want to do some studying on Bill Clinton.

Hmm...this is from 1990. Obviously this was before Rush "pre-screened" his audience to make sure only conservatives got in.

A Bully? Rush is the only class act involved in this! He is trying to have a thoughtful, intelligent debate with a bunch of idiots. He wants to do battle in the arena of ideas, those dumbasses base their debating skill on who can scream and rant the loudest! Rush has more intelligence in his little finger than all of those morans yelling at him!
