When you're in a car, "D" is to go forward, "R" is to go backwards. :P

As mad as Kuttner makes me, Kristol takes the cake! He makes me see red because it is his neo-conservative ilk that has destroyed the credibility of true conservatism. They came in and created a big gov't conservatism with disastrous results and now it is very difficult if not impossible for people to listen to reason-the true libertarian conservatism. AHHH!

SDI was the nail in teh coffin for the siviets..read ur history books..democrats wanted a nonconfrontational policy with the soviets, reagan pressed the soviets economically until they broke down.if it were up to the democrats the berlin wall would STILL be UP!!! believe that

America spends more on military expenses than half of the rest of the world put together. Bush ignored the many warnings of 9/11 before 9/11.

Medicare Part D was totally a give-away corporate welfare benefit for drug companies. Every other country is allowed to negotiate for volume discounts in drug purchases, except the United States.

The steep crime drop that Giuliani presided over corresponds to the increased availability of abortion in the 1970s and 1980s. Reagan did not stare down the Soviets. The Soviets simply determined that their system did not work; all levels of Soviet society were cynical about their system. Hopefully, Americans also will accept that the other extreme--free-market Conservatism--also does not work.

the funni thing, Kristol says N.Y is more livable than before, when in fact this is the worst time to live in N.Y. but in the end, i don't want to take sides between Pro or Con. even though i disagree completely with Kristol, I must still commend him for his intelligence, not necessarily his politics. if anyone thinks i'm being pro-conservative, don't worry, i'm voting Democrats, but i don't advocate for them.

now now, don't be so hasty to call one man the biggest distortionist and liar.it took hundreds of liar distortionist Neo-Cons to make their damnable revolution happen.

You're absolutely right amazingjames, and I can't agree with you more! You are definitely preaching to the choir when it comes to me...
