Well, they stretched the punchline a little, but it was actually quite funny. I know that the Fox crowd takes this literally (and that's the reason they laugh, ha ha). But it's even kind of funny to a liberal non-believer. It's like those cartoons children and grown-ups can laugh about.

Ya I'm not taking it too seriously. Like I said I'm a fan of the show... and in a way I was hoping for a more interesting comical arugment against the atheists instead of a very silly "if you don't beleive in god he will smote you!" thing...
