If the authors are better off, why did they limit their technology reduced experience to only one year?

What's crazy is urban populations are growing and rural is shrinking around the world....

Unfortunately the subtle would cause me to read it with prejudiced as I look for any practicality in the book. Because it contains negative connotations for many I'm reluctant to use the term"appropriate technology", but it will be just that that will serve the most post peak oil. There most likely enough viable land in the world for city residents to move out to live a sustenance lifestyle. Even horse drawn farming compliments are the result of technology.

Thanks for the review, but I don't know when I'll read it purchasing books is not in my budget, and this rural small town library is limited, if book is any good it takes awhile to get it through the inter-library system. Assuming that many KS libraries have although it's been out 7 years.
