On January 26th 2005 the CBC program Fifth Estate aired a report called Sticks & Stones. This clip shows part of the interview with Ann ... all » Coulter. She states that Canada sent troops to Vietnam to help the U.S. Is she really that dumb or is she just making things up on purpose like her buddy O'Reilly? I followed the links that you suggested. They led to Wikipedia which reports that Canada DID actually send troops to Vietnam. The "Assistance To The Americans" section nails it. It was a small number of troops, but none the less. Although publicly non-belligerent, Canada's assitence to the United States war effort is well documented in that article. And that was the greater point that Coulter was trying to make.

what´s so wrong with liberals? Are you afraid of change? Canada did not send troops to vietnam, just search on google for vietnam war canada and the first hit will show a wiki link saying they didn´t. And if you don´t belive wiki try the source link to verifie it ;)

Wrong, but still so hot.

Mike says that Canada sent troops to Vietnam because Ann says they sent troops.

I'm defending a correct statement. You can easily verify it with a web search - Canada did send military personnel to Vietnam. It's funny how you think it's "proving her wrong" for a TV personality to smirk and say "You're wrong". She's right. She's almost always right, but libs don't care about facts - they just want to hear some cynical comment or see her take a pie in the face, because you're too childish for real discussions. And I know how Wiki works: liberals police the content daily.

you obviously don't know how wiki works...Wiki could only be bias if conservatives don't know how to use the internet...that says more about conservative intelligence than anything...but that's only if you're correct...I personally disagree, conservatives are smart too :)

why are you going out of your way to defend an incorrect statement? The truth simply is that Canada did not send troops to Vietnam. Why does that have to be a conservative vs liberal discussion. Is it somehow possible that Coulter simply didn't know that Canada didn't send troops to Vietnam? There are so many other relevant issues to pick bones about... this is not one of them.Ann embarrassed herself while trying to make point... it's that simple.
