This guy is an excuse maker. The DREAM Act is an amnesty, just a little dressed up. It rewards families for having successfully violated our laws. We need it like we need more lung cancer.

First of all, Governor Martinez was born in the United States. She is a United States citizen by birthright. The DREAM Act pertains to minors who were brought to the United States illegally from a foreign by their parents or legal guardians. The DREAM Act does not affect the children or grandchildren of illegal immigrants who were born in the U.S., such as Governor Martinez, because they are U.S. citizens by birthright. Therefore, the DREAM Act affects neither Martinez nor her children.

Just because someone's grandparents are illegal doesn't make them illegal. I think it's a good thing that she's against illegal immigration. It shows she comes out against what everyone (well... liberals) "thinks" she should do. Republicans aren't against people who have illegal grandparents. They're against the illegals that actually come into this country and break the law by doing so. She wasn't even alive when they did so (at least, I assume she wasn't). Why would it be her fault?
