Rush asks, Has America Already Slipped Away?

"Now, to answer a question. No, I haven't given up. That's what this whole show was about today. If I'd given up, well, I don't even want to think about it. I'm not going to. It's not who I am. It's not what I do." – Rush

While I tend to agree with much of what Rush says, I disagree with him on this point. I believe America is gone! All we're waiting for now is for the fat lady to sing.

We have known for years how corrupt the political system has become. The American voter has shown time and time again their inability to vote their conscience or even use reason in their choices. They are brainwashed by a corporate owned mainstream media into choosing between either the left or right… and often say they are voting for the lesser of two evils. Hey folks, the lesser of two evils is still evil.

There have been and continue to be choices other than the corporate provided left/right paradigm. But, since most Americans have been chemically and educationally dumbed down and are pretty much fully under the influence of the corrupt mainstream media, they are blind to their other choices.

With the recent defection of John Roberts in the Supreme Court, now I believe even our courts have been corrupted. I can't imagine any other reason for Roberts to rule as he did in the Obamacare case, unless he or his family was threatened with violence by the powers that be. In either case, the Supreme Court is gone!

I don't see much hope left for America. I expect there will be civil disorder sweeping across the country soon, and when that happens, the corrupt government in Washington will use that event to further enslave the American public with an increased police state.

There is very little time left for patriots to prepare themselves for further degradations of their Constitutional rights.
