Obama's 'pig' Comment
Barack Obama made some unfortunate headlines when he said during a stump speech that 'you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig'. So why did so many people take that to mean that Barack was calling Sarah Palin a pig? Others bemoam that Barack showed some pretty horrible judgement in using that line, stealing it from Sarah Palin.
Please! When will this nonsense ever end? Why don't you media folks get out and start doing your job of reporting the news, insead of all this partisan nick picking?
The only way Barack or John McCain can keep themselves from the media frenzy of parsing every word that comes out of their mouths is to say nothing at all.
Why doesn't the media look at the issues of where the candidates stand on bailing out corporate criminals, or how Americans are losing their liberties, or how China is buying up America's assets, or how the Federal Reserve is destroying the dollar by printing new money out of thin air? Why doesn't the media report on how the candidates expect to pay for all the goodies they're promising us?
Ron Paul is right. "The coverage of the presidential election is designed to be a grand distraction. Pretending that a true difference exists between the two major candidates is a charade of great proportion.
Many who help to perpetuate this myth are frequently unaware of what they are doing and believe that significant differences actually do exist. Indeed, on small points there is the appearance of a difference. The real issues, however, are buried in a barrage of miscellaneous nonsense and endless pontifications by robotic pundits hired to perpetuate the myth of a campaign of substance."
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, perhaps it is a duck.
For you media dillweeds, that is not to say anybody is a duck…
But, if the policies are Socialist and the proposals are Socialist, perhaps it is Socialist.

Rush says, "Obama said he won't nominate Supreme Court justices who follow the 'strict letter of the Constitution.' Of course! He wants to overthrow the Constitution. He wants the courts to redistribute wealth and break down the capitalist system."
