Who are the real Phony Soldiers?
What's all the sniping going on about "phony soldiers"? If they're phony… they're phony, right?
Apparently, some clueless liberals prefer to believe the lies. Someone once said that if you keep repeating the lies, the people will eventually believe them. Well, the liberals in our midst have been repeating the same old lies for so long, they do believe them.
Seems like many people are questioning the patriotism of our national leaders and wanna-be's, and in my opinion, rightfully so. Who do you want leading our country in time of war? A person that wants to cut and run from the fight, or somebody that has the guts to stand and fight no matter the odds. Is it being patriotic to give up on our country and let extremists overrun us? Is it patriotic to call one of our top military leaders, Gen. BetrayUs? Is it patriotic to send our youth off to war and then not support them with the tools they need to do their job? I don't think so.
And liberal Democrats are not the only one's whose patriotism should be questioned. Is it patriotic to strip American citizens of their personal rights in exchange for a bogus sense of security? Is it patriotic to steal the homes of Americans and give them to corporations who want to bolster their profits? Is it patriotic to trash our U.S. Constitution in order to placate greedy corrupt government? I don't think so, either.
There is not a single Democratic candidate running for President that I would call "patriotic" And, none of the front-running Republicans have a patriotic bone in them either. Both sides don't exhibit the kind of patriotism that built this great country.
Listen up candidates: As leaders, you should be exhibiting the qualities that Americans want to follow. If you continue exhibiting unpatriotic qualities, either Americans will adopt those same qualities or rise up and throw you out. Sadly, up to this point, it would seem most Americans are willing to follow you down the path to destruction.
Perhaps it's time for the alternative.

The patriot and the statesman look to find resolve by inducing a format that seeks enough agreement to induce actions. That Reid or any other person has an invitation to come toward RL (on the air) is a first step, by Rush, as a patriot to invite resolve. A measure of anyone's courage is their talking to their advisary … not about them.
Our sons are not in the military fighting as Republicans or Democrats … they are fighting as Americans – something both parties and their leadership miss as they propose great ideas without substantive statesmanship to back up implementation.
