In a week that has already been rocked by one explosive government spy scandal involving the NSA scooping up phone call data and geographic locations of Verizon customers, another scandalous discovery has just erupted that’s sure to “wake up” millions of Americans who have been living in denial.

“The National Security Agency and the FBI are tapping directly into the central servers of nine leading U.S. Internet companies, extracting audio, video, photographs, e-mails, documents and connection logs that enable analysts to track a person’s movements and contacts over time,” reports the Washington Post in an explosive investigative article.

Top secret documents obtained by the Washington Post show that nearly all the top internet services — Microsoft Hotmail, Google Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Facebook, Skype, AOL, Apple, Youtube and PalTalk — are all sharing ALL your user communications with the federal government. Dropbox is reportedly “coming soon.”

As the Washington Post explains:

Through a top-secret program authorized by federal judges working under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), the U.S. intelligence community can gain access to the servers of nine Internet companies for a wide range of digital data. Documents describing the previously undisclosed program, obtained by The Washington Post, show the breadth of U.S. electronic surveillance capabilities in the wake of a widely publicized controversy over warrantless wiretapping of U.S. domestic telephone communications in 2005.

The types of data these services allow the government to surveil include emails, audio chats, video chats, text chats, photos, usernames, passwords, file transfers, VoIP sessions and much more. Users of Google Drive will be shocked to learn that the NSA has full access to all their private files stored on Google Drive. In effect, these services take every communication initiated by their users and turn it over to the NSA. All these internet services are operating in conspiracy with a criminal government that believes there are absolutely no limits to its power and that it can spy and snoop on all Americans.

When you are calling friends on your iPhone, or chatting over Skype, or emailing someone on Gmail or Yahoo Mail, everything you type, speak, attach or send is being systematically siphoned up, databased and tracked by the U.S. government.

This is all revealed in “PRISM slide #4,” which was leaked to the Washington Post. Here’s the slide image, just in case it gets yanked from WashPo:

Timeline of betrayal

The collection of private user data under the PRISM program began on September 11, 2007, with Microsoft (Hotmail) turning over private emails. Every Hotmail email sent since 2007 has been surveiled and tracked by the NSA.

Here are the dates of “activation” when the NSA began collecting private user data from internet service providers:

• September, 2007 – Microsoft / Hotmail

• March, 2008 – Yahoo Mail

• January, 2009 – Google Gmail

• June, 2009 – Facebook

• December, 2009 – Paltalk

• September, 2010 – YouTube

• February, 2011 – Skype

• March, 2011 – AOL

• October, 2012 – Apple

This is detailed in “PRISM slide #5″ shown below:

Total bust for any remaining trust in cloud computing

Beyond all the astonishing implications of this discovery which merit a full discussion separate from this article, this revelation is bound to shatter any remaining trust in so-called “cloud computing.”

Anyone and everyone using Google applications that store files online — or using online file backup or storage services — must now assume the NSA is capturing and scanning all their files. The internet police state is operating in full force, and absolutely nothing is safe from its prying eyes… not even your photos and private files.

And while many people were aware that services like Google and Yahoo were scanning their emails in order to show them related advertising on other websites they surf, virtually no one believed that Microsoft, Google, Yahoo and AOL were systematically turning over all their private emails to the government.

That very idea, in fact, was called a “conspiracy theory” until this very day. Anyone who suggested this was taking place — like Alex Jones — was branded a loon. (Will the media now apologize to him for warning of this exact thing? I doubt it…)

But now it’s all confirmed. The government isn’t just reaching down your pants at the airport; it’s reaching into your private phone calls, emails, bank account activities, family photos, online storage files, Skype chats, Skype calls and everything else.

The Bush-Obama surveillance nightmare

This police state surveillance nightmare was started by Bush but continued by Obama. Ron Fournier has penned an excellent article on this very topic, entitled Welcome to the Bush-Obama White House: They’re Spying on Us.

These revelations are so shocking that even the New York Times is starting to awaken to the reality of the police state, saying the Obama administration “…has now lost all credibility on this issue” and following that up with, “Mr. Obama is proving the truism that the executive will use any power it is given and very likely abuse it.”

The NYT goes on to call the Patriot Act “reckless in its assignment of unnecessary and overbroad surveillance powers.”

It’s right about that, of course. And it brings up an inconvenient fact that many Republicans have forgotten: All this police state surveillance expansion was started in the Bush era. It was all “legalized” in the frenzied aftermath of 9/11, which now completely explains why rogue elements working within the government plotted the 9/11 attacks and allowed them to be carried out by standing down defense forces which could have prevented it.

The real purpose of the Bush-era Patriot Act

The entire purpose of 9/11 was to thrust Americans into a state of irrational fear so that they would support even the most insane, draconian, police state laws such as the Patriot Act. Republicans were beating their war drums and cheering the passage of this law!

Now, of course, they incorrectly blame Obama for the police state. But Obama is only half to blame: he didn’t start these activities but he sure continued them. And in some ways, Obama found new opportunities to exploit and abuse government power beyond what even Bush could have imagined. The due of Bush + Obama is an absolute train wreck of criminality, spookiness and the abandonment of all rights and protections for the People.

Everybody is to blame for this. Bush supporters let this happen and Obama supporters let it ride. All along, neither party demanded the government limit its powers and abide by the Constitution. Only Ron Paul and a few libertarians carried that torch for the last 12 years, but they were shouted down by the establishment media which pretended the police state didn’t exist at all.

So don’t expect any miracles to occur when talking about dismantling this police state nightmare that smacks of North Korea: both political parties are huge believers in government abuse of power and the use of government to dominate, intimidate, censor, oppress, track and surveil innocent Americans. In fact, their entire power base depends on this.

Because if Americans were free to openly share ideas without fear of intimidation, they might discuss truly revolutionary ideas like eliminating the IRS, arresting all the war criminals in the U.S. Senate, or even marching on the White House and throwing the gangsters out of office.

It comes as no surprise to learn the IRS has been targeting conservative groups such as the Tea Party and other groups critical of the federal government for greater scrutiny. After all, the IRS is the enforcement arm and collection agency to keep the privately owned Federal Reserve ponzi scheme afloat.

Rush Limbaugh said on his radio program, "But I think the answer is that the IRS is the collection agency of the statists. The IRS is the collection agency of socialism." Remember, these people are all about as much money as possible flowing to government. They are all about tax increases. They are all about the government getting bigger. Anything that happens that encourages people to be suspicious of their collection agency is not good. Anything that might corrupt that whole process, they can't allow to fester. "

The Washington Post reports, at various points over the past two years, Internal Revenue Service officials targeted nonprofit groups that criticized the government and sought to educate Americans about the U.S. Constitution, according to documents in an audit conducted by the agency’s inspector general. The report by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration shows that the targeting of patriots and Tea Party groups began as early as March 2010, and that the head of the IRS tax-exempt organizations division was specifically told about this targeting in June 2011.

Even though the IRS knew exactly what was going on, IRS officials vehemently denied that targeting of patriot and Tea Party groups was taking place in response to five different congressional inquiries between November 18th, 2011 and June 15th, 2012.

“This is obviously disturbing,” said Rep. Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Committee, in a USA Today article. “Coming within a week of revelations that the White House lied to the American people about the Benghazi attacks and the IRS targeted conservative Americans for their political beliefs, Americans should take notice that top Obama Administration officials increasingly see themselves as above the law and emboldened by the belief that they don’t have to answer to anyone.”

The Internal Revenue Service has “apologized” for harassing patriot and Tea Party groups. The political groups were inappropriately flagged for additional reviews during the 2012 election to determine if they were in violation of their tax-exempt status. The IRS searched for the words “patriot” and “tea party” in applications.

Lois Lerner, who oversees the IRS unit on tax-exempt groups, said the federal government tax agency had singled out patriot groups for special treatment after complaints the agency asked the groups an inordinate number of questions to justify their tax-exempt status.

Rush says, "We also know now that the IRS was not just targeting keywords in the groups' names. They were targeting anything that indicated they were conservative. In fact, the Washington Post even points out, quote, "Although some of the groups were explicitly labeled 'tea party' or 'patriot,' others that came under intense scrutiny were focused on challenging the Affordable Care Act — … Obamacare — or the integrity of federal elections," which is kind of disturbing here, folks, since the IRS is going to be the enforcement agency of Obamacare."

Also coming as no surprise is the Marxist inspired leftist media coming to the defense of the IRS and the 2nd Plank of Communism. MSNBC's Ed Schultz said, "Am I defending the IRS? Yeah I am! I am, I am. This is how we run the government." Lawrence O’Donnell said on his MSNBC program, The Last Word, that "it is really just the IRS doing it's job." How disgusting! And these people claim to be Americans?

The harassment is reminiscent of Cointelpro tactics used by the government. Beginning in the late 1950s, the FBI enlisted the IRS to conduct selective tax audits of political organizations and individuals, including civil rights leader Martin Luther King.

Mike Adams at Natural News reminds us that beginning January, 2014, the IRS will become the enforcement arm of Obamacare. Part of this enforcement will include demanding private health insurance status information and ID numbers from all Americans. Anyone who refuses to provide this information will be financially penalized (i.e. “fined”) an amount that increases each year until it reaches a penalty of $2,085 per family or 2.5% of your income, whichever is greater.

Given that the IRS has proven it is a criminal enterprise that uses its power to intimidate political opponents of the Obama administration, writes Adams, a very likely tactic to be pursued by the agency will include punitive scrutiny of any who refuse to participate in Obamacare mandates. If you refuse to get Obama-mandated health insurance, in other words, and opt to pay the IRS penalty instead, you may be subjected to extra scrutiny by the IRS in exactly the same way conservative non-profits were targeted by the IRS over the last four years.

Ron Paul
April 29, 2013

Forced lockdown of a city. Militarized police riding tanks in the streets. Door-to-door armed searches without warrant. Families thrown out of their homes at gunpoint to be searched without probable cause. Businesses forced to close. Transport shut down.

These were not the scenes from a military coup in a far off banana republic, but rather the scenes just over a week ago in Boston as the United States got a taste of martial law. The ostensible reason for the military-style takeover of parts of Boston was that the accused perpetrator of a horrific crime was on the loose. The Boston bombing provided the opportunity for the government to turn what should have been a police investigation into a military-style occupation of an American city. This unprecedented move should frighten us as much or more than the attack itself.

What has been sadly forgotten in all the celebration of the capture of one suspect and the killing of his older brother is that the police state tactics in Boston did absolutely nothing to catch them. While the media crowed that the apprehension of the suspects was a triumph of the new surveillance state – and, predictably, many talking heads and Members of Congress called for even more government cameras pointed at the rest of us – the fact is none of this caught the suspect. Actually, it very nearly gave the suspect a chance to make a getaway.

The “shelter in place” command imposed by the governor of Massachusetts was lifted before the suspect was caught. Only after this police state move was ended did the owner of the boat go outside to check on his property, and in so doing discover the suspect.

No, the suspect was not discovered by the paramilitary troops terrorizing the public. He was discovered by a private citizen, who then placed a call to the police. And he was identified not by government surveillance cameras, but by private citizens who willingly shared their photographs with the police.

As journalist Tim Carney wrote last week:

“Law enforcement in Boston used cameras to ID the bombing suspects, but not police cameras. Instead, authorities asked the public to submit all photos and videos of the finish-line area to the FBI, just in case any of them had relevant images. The surveillance videos the FBI posted online of the suspects came from private businesses that use surveillance to punish and deter crime on their property.”

Sadly, we have been conditioned to believe that the job of the government is to keep us safe, but in reality the job of the government is to protect our liberties. Once the government decides that its role is to keep us safe, whether economically or physically, they can only do so by taking away our liberties. That is what happened in Boston.

Three people were killed in Boston and that is tragic. But what of the fact that over 40 persons are killed in the United States each day, and sometimes ten persons can be killed in one city on any given weekend? These cities are not locked-down by paramilitary police riding in tanks and pointing automatic weapons at innocent citizens.

This is unprecedented and is very dangerous. We must educate ourselves and others about our precious civil liberties to ensure that we never accept demands that we give up our Constitution so that the government can pretend to protect us.

Former Congressman Paul’s article first appeared at the-free-foundation.org, the temporary home for his weekly column until his personal web page is up and running.

Magicians use distraction techniques to draw the audience's attention away from whichever hand is engaged in sleight of hand. Magicians can accomplish this by encouraging the audience to look elsewhere or by having an assistant do or say something to draw the audience's attention away.

Governments use what is called a "false flag" to divert the scrutiny of their actions and blame the event on somebody else.

On April 15, 2013 two bombs ripped through the crowd of onlookers at the Boston Marathon. For days following, the mainstream media was literally engulfed in reporting on this event, pushing nearly everything else into obscurity.

One story that got lost in this fog of war was by Scott Shane called, "U.S. Engaged in Torture After 9/11, Review Concludes" buried in The New York Times. Had it not been for the bombings in Boston, this would have been the headline story.

In essence, this bipartisan report, along with 6,000 pages of still classified docs implicates three Administrations of International War Crimes: Rendition, Torture, Enhanced Interrogation.

In this article it explains…
"While the Constitution Project report covers mainly the Bush years, it is critical of some Obama administration policies, especially what it calls excessive secrecy. It says that keeping the details of rendition and torture from the public “cannot continue to be justified on the basis of national security” and urges the administration to stop citing state secrets to block lawsuits by former detainees."

Instead of reporting that the USA is guilty of committing war crimes, we were distracted with the Boston Marathon. The question is, was that intentional or a coincidence?

Steve Pieczenik points out, A decade ago, Bush Jr had no qualms, of course along with his close pal Cheney, of sacrificing a few thousand US military men in the useless Iraq War. Don’t forget the hundreds of thousands of innocent Pakistanis, Yemenis, Afghanis, and Iraqis that Obama, Panetta, Tenet, Hayden, Brennan et al, are willing to sacrifice in the name of ‘terror’ or, excuse me, the ‘war on terror’.

So what’s a few Americans who were killed and injured in the Marathon Race? Nothing, really, in comparison to the full scope of the extent of the horror that Clinton, Bush jr and Obama collectively had engaged in maiming the innocent; torturing the prisoners; injuring and killing the countless thousands of innocent civilians; destroying societies and countries; and creating world wide MAYHEM and CHAOS—all for the sake of NATIONAL SECURITY?

Once again, Executive tyranny reigns supreme over our Republic.

It started with Slick Willy and Rendition and his corrupt political and economic cronyism. Then it accelerated and deteriorated with Bush Jr and company.

And now the President of “NON-TRANSPARENCY” and “NIXONIAN SECRECY” and “DRONE WARS” has continued the slide of our republic into a criminal civilization worthy of an international tribunal placing our leaders in jail or worse.

Republican Arizona Senator John McCain will work with Senate Democrats on legislation to expand background checks for private sales of firearms between individuals.

“We’ve had discussions about the issue,” McCain told The Hill. He declined to provide details.

Smoke and mirrors: Bloomberg says NRA power “is lost” despite fact organization is working with Democrats to pass legislation.

Democrats recently sidelined Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn, who is an advocate of the Second Amendment, and are now working with McCain and Republicans Susan Collins of Maine and Dean Heller of Nevada to implement gun registration in the United States, a precursor to confiscation.

Illinois Republican Senator Mark Kirk will likely support the expanded background check legislation negotiated with two key Senate Democrats, the notorious gun-grabber Charles Schumer of New York and Joe Manchin of West Virginia.

“Sen. Kirk remains largely supportive of the background check proposal so far negotiated between he and Sens. Manchin and Schumer, and he will continue negotiating for language to protect veterans’ Second Amendment rights,” said Lance Trover, Kirk’s spokesman.

Manchin is described as a moderate Democrat. The NRA portrays him as a defender of the Second Amendment and has given him an “A” rating. “Joe Manchin is committed to protecting the Right to Keep and Bear Arms guaranteed to all Americans,” NRA Chairman Chris Cox said in October.

“I don’t know anyone who in the hunting or sporting arena that goes out with an assault rifle,” Manchin told Morning Joe in December. “I don’t know anybody that needs 30 rounds in the clip to go hunting. I mean, these are things that need to be talked about.”

Arguments presented by Democrats have consistently portrayed the Second Amendment as a hunting and self-defense right. The founders, however, insisted the Second Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights so that citizens might be sufficiently armed to resist tyranny.

A Senate aide to Susan Collins said she has discussed the legislation with Democrats. Dean Heller said he is “open-minded about expanding background checks,” according to The Hill, and has some of the same reservations as Coburn.

“Coburn and I share that concern only because you have to keep those records from 15 to 20 years and even proponents of the legislation say they would subject law-abiding citizens to stings by the ATF,” the Nevada Republican said.

McCain is considered key because he has a “B-plus” NRA rating. Heller has an “A” rating and Collins a “C-plus” rating. Kirk has failed the NRA litmus test and is considered a threat to the Second Amendment and the gun rights of Americans.

Senate Majority leader Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat, will introduce bipartisan “gun violence” legislation on the Senate floor in April. It is uncertain if the bill will get the 60 votes required to beat a filibuster.

New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, who has spent millions of his own money to undermine the Second Amendment, has praised Reid’s work in the Senate.

“I applaud Senator Reid for sending a bill to the Senate floor that includes comprehensive, enforceable background checks – and for emphasizing that to be effective, any bill that passes the Senate must include background checks,” said Bloomberg. “This sensible reform – with overwhelming support from Americans, including gun owners – will save lives and keep our communities safer.”

“You walk into this room at your own risk, because it leads to the future; not a future that will be, but one that might be. This is not a new world: It is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has ever planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advances, and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super states that preceded it, it has one iron rule: Logic is an enemy, and truth is a menace.”

Rod Serling, The Obsolete Man.

Rod Serling’s quote from the Obsolete Man, a much loved 1961 episode of The Twilight Zone, has never been so relevant for today’s society, a world in which common sense has been subverted and reality is frowned upon by an establishment that sustains its own power on a steady diet of universal deceit.

Since its introduction in a 1938 play and subsequent film adaptations, the term ‘gaslighting’ has entered into psychological textbooks as a form of psychological abuse whereby the protagonist seeks to make the victim doubt their own sanity by disorienting them and manipulating their sense of reality.

Psychologist Martha Stout documents how sociopaths will successfully put on an act of being charming and convincing while simultaneously waging war against the common sense of their victims through a constant barrage of lies and abuse, all the time claiming their innocence. This is a perfect description of how the mainstream media and the government operates in the United States today – habitually lying without recourse while denouncing anyone who challenges the lie as a “conspiracy theorist”.

A revolution has been launched against rationality and truth. Those who question authority are instantly derided as “conspiracy theorists” simply for coming to logical conclusions based on the evidence in front of them. The term “conspiracy theory” has been harnessed into a pejorative weapon with which to bludgeon free speech, healthy skepticism and independent thinking.

In reality, today’s “conspiracy theorist” is someone who has managed to retain some remnant of control over their own thought process and one who has successfully resisted becoming another victim of ‘gaslighting’ – an individual who knows when they are being lied to.

We live in an era where the ‘big lie’ has come to dominate virtually every sector of modern society – from news to entertainment, to foreign policy and politics, to the economy and healthcare. Only by refusing to accept that logic is an enemy and truth a menace, only by refusing to become victims of ‘gaslighting’ can we truly remain sane, rational, and not allow our understanding of the world to be shaped by those who see us as obsolete.

Here are the top ten media and government hoaxes in recent history – lies and distortions that underscore how we truly are living in an age of universal deceit.

- Iraq had weapons of mass destruction

The lie that launched a war, following in the footsteps of numerous others throughout history including the Gulf of Tonkin hoax and the USS Maine. Not long after September 11 and for over a year until the invasion, the mainstream media dutifully repeated the hoax that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. One of the main sources used by the British and US governments to make the claim, Rafid Ahmed Alwan al-Janabi, codenamed Curveball, later admitted that he lied about the existence of a WMD program in Iraq and then “watched in shock as it was used to justify the war”.

- Osama Bin Laden was killed in May 2011

With most top analysts firmly of the opinion that Bin Laden died many years ago, a deluge of evidence suggests the May 2011 raid was a manufactured hoax. From the phony situation room photos, to the ludicrous “burial at sea” narrative, to the eyewitness testimony of those who lived in the same village where the raid supposedly took place, the assassination of Osama had all the hallmarks of a Jessica Lynch-style Hollywood hoax.

- The drone program doesn’t exist

Even after drone strikes were already being conducted and reported on around the world, former White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was told by the Obama administration to act as if there was no such thing as an active US drone program – regurgitating the hoax that the entire project was completely non-existent. “When I went through the process of becoming press secretary, one of the first things they told me was, you’re not even to acknowledge the drone program,” Gibbs said on MSNBC’s “Up With Chris Hayes” last month.

- The Federal Reserve is federal

The Federal Reserve is no more federal than Federal Express. It is a private bank that poses as a government entity. In 2011, when the New York Times attempted to obtain documents about the Fed’s loans to foreign banks under the Freedom of Information Act, the Fed responded by admitting that it was in fact a privately owned bank and not federal at all, therefore not subject to FOIA requests. As the long-time Chairman of the House Banking and Currency Committee Charles McFadden said on June 10, 1932: “Some people think that the Federal Reserve Banks are United States Government institutions. They are private monopolies.” In 1982, the Ninth Circuit Court ruled that, “Examining the organization and function of the Federal Reserve Banks, and applying the relevant factors, we conclude that the Reserve Banks are not federal instrumentalities for purposes of the FTCA, but are independent, privately-owned and locally controlled corporations.”

- The unemployment rate is 7.7%

The unemployment rate reported by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and regurgitated by the media is a hoax. As economist John Williams of the Shadow Government Statistics website exhaustively documents, the real unemployment figure is closer to 23 per cent because the government figure does not include citizens who have stopped looking for work over the course of the previous month. “Since 1994, the long-term discouraged workers, those who have been discouraged for more than one year, have been excluded from all government data,” writes Jerome Corsi.

- Flu vaccines protect you against flu

Despite all its associated health risks, the flu vaccines does not protect you against the flu. The shots have to be renewed every year and even then recent statistics show that the flu vaccine is, “effective in only 56 percent of people who got the shot, and it largely failed to protect the elderly against an especially deadly strain circulating during flu season.”

- Fluoride is good for you

In addition to the plethora of existing studies which prove sodium fluoride, which is present in around 66 per cent of US water supplies, is a toxic waste that causes debilitating health problems, a recent Harvard University study found that “The children in high fluoride areas had significantly lower IQ than those who lived in low fluoride areas.” Even the CDC, which advocates the fluoridation of water supplies, admits that 2 in 5 American children show signs of fluoride poisoning.

- The government is not preparing for civil unrest

The establishment media, aided by a raft of leftist websites, is portraying concern over the Department of Homeland Security’s purchase of some 2 billion rounds of ammunition as a conspiracy theory by regurgitating the glib statement of a single DHS official. Erroneously claiming that the mass bullet buys are merely for training purposes or the government saving money by buying in bulk, the hoax conveniently ignores the fact that most of the bullets purchased are hollow point rounds which are both more and expensive and unsuitable for training purposes. The DHS admits that it is preparing for civil unrest by purchasing riot gear and yet the media still portrays the notion that the DHS is preparing for civil unrest as a “conspiracy theory”.

- Democrats and Republicans represent two opposing parties

The biggest political hoax ever invented – that the Republicans and the Democrats represent opposing forces – still continues to dominate despite the two parties habitually agreeing on every major issue. As Georgetown University Professor Carroll Quigley (Bill Clinton’s mentor), wrote in his book Tragedy and Hope, “The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to the doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can “throw the rascals out” at any election without leading to any profound or extreme shifts in policy. … Either party in office becomes in time corrupt, tired, unenterprising, and vigorless. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.”

- There is a war on drugs

The notion of a war on drugs, one that continues to ensnare thousands of Americans in the prison-industrial system, is a complete hoax. As Pulitzer Prize winning author Gary Webb exposed before his “suicide,” the Central Intelligence Agency and the Drug Enforcement Agency control and operate the global drugs trade. US soldiers are now guarding the opium fields in Afghanistan as record amounts of heroin leave the country destined for US and European markets. The man who played a crucial role in reinstating Afghanistan’s opium market, Ahmed Wali Karzai, was on the payroll of the CIA for at least eight years. Mexican drug traffickers routinely admit that they work for the CIA and that the agency controls the drugs trade while simultaneously hoaxing the public with claims about a “war on drugs”.

World Wrestling Entertainment has jumped on the bandwagon of demonizing Tea Party Americans as racists by creating a xenophobic character who espouses anti-immigrant rhetoric, as WWE commentators quip that he receives “fan mail” from Alex Jones, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh.

Jack Swagger and his manager Zeb Colter appeared on Monday Night Raw last night and were booed by the audience as they talked about the constitution, the bill of rights and illegal immigration while standing in front of a ‘don’t tread on me’ flag.

The WWE is playing the race card for the purpose of a gimmick as Swagger prepares to fight Mexican wrestler Alberto Del Rio for the world heavyweight title at Wrestlemania.

During Swagger’s match, commentators Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler joked that Swagger and Colter had received “fan mail” from conservative radio talk show hosts Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Alex Jones.

Twitter users reacted with outrage, slamming the WWE for “crapping all over the Tea Party” by “promoting a Racist, immigrant hating Tea Party character vs a Mexican wrestler.”

“What the fuck are you doing with this Zeb Colter guy? A heel with a Tea Party stereotype angle? Do you still want my money?” asked Mark Scudder.

This is part of the divide and conquer tactic of cultural subversion to manufacture racial division and to characterize the Tea Party, conservatives, libertarians, opponents of uncontrolled illegal immigration and constitutionalists as racist, extremist radicals who should be pushed to the fringes of the political discourse.

Now the demonization runs so deep that it’s even being bolstered by WWE wrestling.

The fact that WWE is owned by Vince and Linda McMahon, who are part of the Republican establishment, also tells us a lot about how grass roots conservatives and libertarians are viewed by those near the top of the power structure.

Why are we getting so wound up about a wrestling gimmick? WWE programming reaches 14 million Americans every week – and millions more worldwide. To put it in context – that’s more than 10 times the amount of viewers who watch America’s top rated news show, The O’Reilly Factor.

This follows the relentless campaign on behalf of the federal government, via the MIAC report, via the Department of Homeland Security and others to portray Americans who oppose big government as domestic extremists and even terrorists.

It has been disclosed in the mainstream media that the government has authorized the killing of American citizens as part of its controversial drone campaign against al Qaeda even without intelligence that such Americans are actively plotting to attack a U.S. target, according to a Justice Department memo.

Oh yeah! When I said this months ago, the sheeple said it was only a conspiracy theory and I was nuts.

Once again, months later… conspiracy theory becomes reality.

The Founding Fathers agree: an armed population makes good government. Numerous quotes from the revolutionary era make their intent extremely clear — that individuals were meant to keep and bear arms for the protection of the country and the defense of its Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The Preamble to the Bill of Rights explicitly states that these amendments to the Constitution were put in place to restrain the federal government and discourage abuse. Ratified Dec. 15, 1791, it reads:

“THE Conventions of a number of the States, having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best ensure the beneficent ends of its institution. “

Meanwhile, history has shown that disarmed populations and dictators always go hand in hand, with abusers and seekers of power preferring a people unable to stand up for their rights and easy to trample and dominate.

Our birthright as Americans is at stake: if we don’t stand up to defend the 2nd Amendment, we stand to let all our other precious rights slip away, from freedom of speech on down.

————-

“One death is a tragedy; one million is a statistic.” - Joseph Stalin

“If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.” - Anonymous American adage

“The Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms.”
– Samuel Adams

“Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American…” – Tench Coxe 1788

“The Constitution preserves “the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation…(where) the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.” - James Madison, The Federalist, No. 46

“Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas.” - Joseph Stalin

“In earlier times, it was easier to control one million people than to physically kill one million people; today, it is infinitely easier to kill one million people than to control one million people.” - Zbigniew Brzezinski

“Death solves all problems – no man, no problem.” - Joseph Stalin

“Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.” - Joseph Stalin

“The only real power comes out of a long rifle.” - Joseph Stalin

“The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed.”
– Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers

“Those now possessing weapons and ammunition are at once to turn them over to the local police authority. Firearms and ammunition found in a Jew’s possession will be forfeited to the government without compensation. Whoever willfully or negligently violates the provisions will be punished with imprisonment and a fine.” - Nazi Law (Regulations Against Jews’ Possession of Weapons), 1938

“Arms discourage and keep the invader and plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property… Horrid mischief would ensue were the law-abiding deprived of the use of them.
” –Thomas Paine

“It is the duty of the patriot to protect his country from its government.” - Thomas Paine

“When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” - Thomas Jefferson

“Those who beat their swords into plowshares usually end up plowing for those who didn’t.
” – Ben Franklin

“If the opposition disarms, well and good. If it refuses to disarm, we shall disarm it ourselves.” - Joseph Stalin

“What country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance. Let them take arms.” – Thomas Jefferson

“A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.” – George Washington

“Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined…The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun.”
– Patrick Henry

“Are we at last brought to such an humiliating and debasing degradation that we cannot be trusted with arms for our own defense?” – Patrick Henry

“The right of the people to keep and bear…arms shall not be infringed. A well regulated militia, composed of the people, trained to arms, is the best and most natural defense of a free country…”
–James Madison, I Annals of Congress 434 (June 8, 1789)

“(The Constitution preserves) the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation…(where) the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.” –James Madison

“If the representatives of the people betray their constituents, there is then no recourse left but in the exertion of that original right of self defense which is paramount to all positive forms of government…” – Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist (#28)

“To disarm the people is the best and most effective way to enslave them.” – George Mason

“The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any bands of regular troops that can be, on any pretense, raised in the United States.”
– Noah Webster, “An Examination into the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution (1787)

“A free people [claim] their rights as derived from the laws of nature, and not as the gift of their chief magistrate.” –Thomas Jefferson, Rights of British America, 1774

“The balance of power is the scale of peace. The same balance would be preserved were all the world destitute of arms, for all would be alike; but since some will not, others dare not lay them aside. And while a single nation refuses to lay them down, it is proper that all should keep them up. Horrid mischief would ensue were one half the world deprived of the use of them; for while avarice and ambition have a place in the heart of man, the weak will become a prey to the strong.” - Thomas Paine, “Thoughts on Defensive War”, July, 1775

“Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” - Mao Zedong, “Problems of War and Strategy”, 1938

“To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them.” - Richard Henry Lee, 1778

“The right of citizens to bear arms is just one more guarantee against arbitrary government, one more safeguard against the tyranny which now appears remote in America, but which historically has proved to be always possible.” - Hubert Humphrey, “Know Your Lawmakers”, Guns magazine, February 1960

“The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing.” - Adolf Hitler, April 1942

“If gun laws in fact worked, the sponsors of this type of legislation should have no difficulty drawing upon long lists of examples of crime rates reduced by such legislation. That they cannot do so after a century and a half of trying — that they must sweep under the rug the southern attempts at gun control in the 1870-1910 period, the northeastern attempts in the 1920-1939 period, the attempts at both Federal and State levels in 1965-1976 — establishes the repeated, complete and inevitable failure of gun laws to control serious crime.” - Orrin Hatch, “The Right to Keep and Bear Arms”

“After a shooting spree, they always want to take the guns away from the people who didn’t do it. I sure as hell wouldn’t want to live in a society where the only people allowed guns are the police and the military.” – William S. Burroughs, 1991

“The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference – they deserve a place of honor with all that’s good.”
- George Washington

“A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” – The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution
