Increase Taxes on the Rich… er, Middle Class

Without a doubt, President Obama has clearly targeted higher income earners for tax increases, but he has vowed to not impact other wage level earners.

However, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, a Democrat from Maryland, says "that thinking may have to be reconsidered."

In a recent speech Hoyer dropped this bombshell:

“We’re lying to ourselves and our children if we say we can maintain our current levels of entitlement spending, defense spending and taxation without bankrupting our country.”

Hoyer says, "in addition to raising taxes on the wealthy, increasing income taxes for the Middle Class is a 'must'."
